About LAA

London's art scene is constantly evolving. Pop up exhibitions, open studios, artist run shows, temporary spaces, late night performances, and experimental projects appear across the city every day. London Art Alert was created to bring these events into one place and make them easier to discover and share.

Instead of relying on curated platforms where someone decides which exhibitions deserve attention, London Art Alert works differently. Creatives publish their own events and build a shared calendar shaped by the people who organise and produce art across the city. Visitors can explore the calendar, discover what interests them, and save the events they want to attend so they can easily return to them later.

The platform starts with London and is designed to expand into other cities, so artists, galleries, organisers and audiences can use one clear event system for discovery and promotion.

Built for sharing and discovery

London Art Alert is designed to make publishing and discovering art events straightforward.

A structured monthly calendar with district and event type filters so visitors can easily explore what is happening across London. Personal profiles where visitors can save events to keep track of exhibitions they want to attend. Fast event submission with a clear moderation process so organisers can publish events quickly. Optional visibility tools like Bump and Highlight that help events stand out within the calendar. A creator dashboard where organisers manage their listings.

The platform keeps discovery simple for visitors and publishing practical for organisers, so the focus stays on the events themselves.

How we keep the calendar reliable

London Art Alert focuses on clarity, fair visibility, and trust. Every listing is checked before it appears in the calendar to keep information accurate and useful. Tools and moderation help reduce spam and duplicate events so visitors can rely on what they see.

Features like Bump and Highlight are transparent visibility tools, while moderation helps maintain a clear and dependable calendar for everyone using the platform.
